If you read through our hardscapes page, you will have figured out that we basically shied away from talking about patios. It is pretty obvious that if we are talking about building hardscapes, patios are going to be a part of the deal. Honestly, what we wanted to do is have a page specific to patios, so we actually have the freedom to talk about patios more in-depth. Also, we love to talk about the process that we usually go through with clients – from the moment that you call to when everything is set and done!
If you are not too much into landscaping you probably had a puzzled look on your face when you read the word portal in the title. It is for you that we decided to write this paragraph. In simple terms, portals tend to be gates or small paths that are enclosed by two structures. So, no we are not talking about an actual pathway to another dimension, but in a sense, the idea is to make sure that it does feel that way for you. Whether, you want to build a small gate separate the yard or you are looking to build that perfect walkway, we want you to feel like you’re stepping into a new world.
Usually, homes have a walkway that runs from their front yard to their backyard. Of course, they can be located in different places, but this is the one that commonly exists in homes. A lot of times though, these particular walkways are more like walking through the jungle. We think that walkways can be great opportunities to be able to exploit that space and not just leave it as something that is there taking up space, but is not really useful to you in any way.
The reason why we have put patios so far down the line is that we know most people have a pretty good idea what a patio is. We like to think that our patios are not just concrete structures that sit outdoors. Actually, there are a lot of different design possibilities that are open to clients when they come to us and ask us to build a patio. This is something that we have talked about in other areas of the site and we believe that it is especially relevant in this section. Our goal is to build patios, or any type of structure, so that it can co-exist with nature. The last thing that we are going to want to do is tear down what is originally there to build any of these structures. We know how to be extra careful in this regard.
